    1Hear therefore, you kings, and understand. Learn, you judges of the ends of the earth. 2Give ear, you rulers who have dominion over many people, and make your boast in multitudes of nations, 3because your dominion was given to you from the Lord, and your sovereignty from the Most High. He will search out your works, and will inquire about your plans, 4because being officers of his kingdom, you didn’t judge rightly, nor did you keep the law, nor did you walk according to God’s counsel. 5He will come upon you awfully and swiftly, because a stern judgment comes on those who are in high places. 6For the man of low estate may be pardoned in mercy, but mighty men will be mightily tested. 7For the Sovereign Lord of all will not be impressed with anyone, neither will he show deference to greatness; because it is he who made both small and great, and cares about them all; 8but the scrutiny that comes upon the powerful is strict. 9Therefore, my words are to you, O princes, that you may learn wisdom and not fall away. 10For those who have kept the things that are holy in holiness will be made holy. Those who have been taught them will find what to say in defense. 11Therefore set your desire on my words. Long for them, and you princes will be instructed.

    3দরিদ্র ও পিতৃহীনদের বিচার কর; দুঃখী ও নিঃস্ব লোকদের প্রতি ন্যায় ব্যবহার কর। 4দরিদ্র ও অভাবগ্রস্তদের রক্ষা কর; দুষ্টদের হাত থেকে তাদের উদ্ধার কর। 6আমি বলেছি, তোমরা সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বর, তোমরা সকলে মহান ঈশ্বরের সন্তান; 7কিন্তু তোমরা মানুষের মত মরবে, একজন শাসনকর্ত্তার মতই মারা যাবে।

    11যিরুশালেমে যাবার দিনের তিনি শমরিয়া ও গালীল দেশের মধ্যে দিয়ে গেলেন। 12তিনি কোনো এক গ্রামে ঢুকছেন, এমন দিনের দশ জন কুষ্ঠরোগী তাঁর সামনে পড়ল, তারা দূরে দাঁড়িয়ে চিৎকার করে বলতে লাগল, 13“যীশু, নাথ, আমাদের দয়া করুন!” 14তাহাদের দেখে তিনি বললেন, “যাও, যাজকদের কাছে গিয়ে নিজেদের দেখাও। যেতে যেতে তারা শুদ্ধ হল।” 15তখন তাদের একজন নিজেকে সুস্থ দেখে চিৎকার করে ঈশ্বরের গৌরব করতে করতে ফিরে এলো, 16এবং যীশুর পায়ের উপর উপুড় হয়ে তাঁর ধন্যবাদ করতে লাগল; সেই ব্যক্তি শমরীয়। 17যীশু উত্তর করে বললেন, “দশ জন কি শুদ্ধ সুস্থ হয়নি? তবে সেই নয় জন কোথায়? 18ঈশ্বরের গৌরব করবার জন্য ফিরে এসেছে, এই অন্য জাতির লোকটি ছাড়া এমন কাউকেও কি পাওয়া গেল না?” 19পরে তিনি তাকে বললেন, “উঠ এবং যাও, তোমার বিশ্বাস তোমাকে সুস্থ করেছে।”

    6If the great Lord wills, he will be filled with the spirit of understanding; he will pour forth the words of his wisdom and in prayer give thanks to the Lord. 7He will direct his counsel and knowledge, and he will meditate in his secrets. 8He will show the instruction which he has been taught and will glory in the law of the covenant of the Lord. 9Many will commend his understanding. So long as the world endures, it won’t be blotted out. His memory won’t depart. His name will live from generation to generation. 10Nations will declare his wisdom. The congregation will proclaim his praise. 11If he continues, he will leave a greater name than a thousand. If he finally rests, it is enough for him.

    3সদাপ্রভুুতে নির্ভর কর এবং যা ন্যায্য তাই কর; দেশের মধ্যে বাস কর এবং বিশ্বস্ততা চারণভূমি উপভোগ কর। 4আর সদাপ্রভুুতে আনন্দিত হও এবং তিনি তোমার হৃদয়ের ইচ্ছা পূর্ণ করবেন। 5তোমার গতি সদাপ্রভুুতে অর্পণ কর; তাঁর উপর নির্ভর কর এবং তিনি তোমার পক্ষে কাজ করবেন। 6তোমার ন্যায়বিচার আলোর মত এবং তিনি দুপুরে তোমার নির্দোষীতা প্রকাশ করবেন। 30ধার্ম্মিকদের মুখ জ্ঞানের কথা বলে এবং তাদের জিহ্বা ন্যায়বিচারের কথা বলে। 31ঈশ্বরের বিচার তার হৃদয়ের মধ্যে আছে; তার পা পিছলাবে না।
