Come, O Holy Ghost, fill the hearts of thy faithful, and kindle in them the fire of thy love.

Holy Spirit, Spirit of Truth, come into our hearts; shed the brightness of thy light on all nations, that they may be one in Faith and pleasing to Thee.

Novena ao Sagrado Coração de Jesus

My loving Jesus! I give thee my heart, and I consecrate myself wholly to thee, out of the grateful love I bear thee, and as a reparation for all my unfaithfulness; and with thy aid I purpose never to sin again.

Novena a Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo Socorro

Quando: Nove dias antes de 27 de junho, ou às quartas-feiras.

Mother of Perpetual Succour, grant that I may ever invoke thy most powerful name, which is the safeguard of the living and the salvation of the dying. O purest Mary! O sweetest Mary! let thy name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, O blessed Lady, to succour me, whenever I call on thee; for, in all my temptations, in all my needs, I shall never cease to call on thee, ever repeating thy sacred name, Mary! Mary! Oh, what consolation, what sweetness, what confidence, what emotion fills my soul when I utter thy sacred name, or even only think of thee! I thank the Lord for having given thee, for my good, so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering thy name. Let my love for thee prompt me ever to hail thee Mother of Perpetual Succour.

V. O God, come to my assistance. R. O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father, etc.

1. At the intercession of St Michael and the heavenly choir of the Seraphim, may it please God to make us worthy to receive into our hearts the fire of his perfect charity. Amen. Um Pai-Nosso e três Ave-Marias.
2. At the intercession of St Michael and the heavenly choir of the Cherubim, may God grant us grace to abandon the ways of sin, and follow the path of Christian perfection. Amen. Um Pai-Nosso e três Ave-Marias.
3. At the intercession of St Michael and the sacred choir of the Thrones, may it please God to infuse into our hearts a true and earnest spirit of humility. Amen. Um Pai-Nosso e três Ave-Marias.
4. At the intercession of St Michael and the heavenly choir of the Dominations, may it please God to grant us grace to have dominion over our senses, and to correct our depraved passions. Amen. Um Pai-Nosso e três Ave-Marias.

8. At the intercession of St Michael and the heavenly choir of Archangels, may it please God to grant us the gift of perseverance in the faith and in all good works, that we may thereby be enabled to attain unto the glory of Paradise. Amen. Um Pai-Nosso e três Ave-Marias.
9. At the intercession of St Michael and the heavenly choir of Angels, may God vouchsafe to grant that the Holy Angels may protect us during life, and after death may lead us into the everlasting glory of heaven. Amen. Um Pai-Nosso e três Ave-Marias.

No fim, rezam-se quatro Pai-Nossos: o primeiro a São Miguel, o segundo a São Gabriel, o terceiro a São Rafael e o quarto ao nosso Anjo da Guarda.
